Loving & Free is the 501 (c) (3) Non-Profit Organization of Buzy With B. Loving and Free was created to inform the youth about becoming an entrepreneur and to help them transition to adulthood by providing access to mentors, counselors, education and other resources so they can develop the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to be successful. Loving & Free was previously known as Buzy Being Beautiful.
At Loving & Free we inform the youth of community/educational events & services and also provide access to entrepreneurs and other community members who share their success stories and give words of advice. We accomplish our mission using a variety of ways including but not limited to podcasts, live appearances and social media.
Loving & Free aims to be a presence in the community by conducting clothing & food drives and providing resources & education on mentoring, financial stability, credit, domestic violence & abuse, mental health and employment. Another aim of Loving & Free is to organize startup funding for business owners that are black and/or brown skinned.
At Loving & Free, we depend on donations to accomplish our mission. Donations are used for the general day to day operating expenses related to carrying out our mission and our success is only made possible by your continued financial support through donations. We ask that you donate to our cause both now and in the future. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law under the Internal Revenue Code, please consult with your tax advisor for eligibility. Loving & Free Events
For the 2021 – 2022 school year, we are proud to announce that we have adopted the 6th grade students attending Excel Academy, an all female public charter school in DC. Throughout the school year we will provide school supplies and coordinate events for the students.
On August 30, 2021, Loving & Free, donated bags of school supplies to all the 6th grade students of Excel Academy. Each bag contained a binder, composition books, folders, hand sanitizer, highlighters, lip balm, paper, pencils, a pencil sharpener and pens.
We are proud to announce our participation in Washington DC’s Adopt a Block Program. We have committed to organizing community clean up events on our adopted blocks for a two year period.
